How We Work — Our Process
From first call to court handover in 4–6 weeks
Site Visit & Assessment
Our technical team visits your location to assess ground conditions, measure dimensions, check drainage, and understand your requirements. We provide a detailed quotation within 24–48 hours.
Ground Preparation (Week 1)
Excavation, leveling, and compaction of the base. We ensure proper slope (1:100) for water drainage. Stone aggregate base is laid and compacted using rollers.
Base Construction (Week 2–3)
Concrete or asphalt base is laid as per specifications. This forms the foundation and must cure properly before surface application. Perimeter fencing structure is installed.
Surface Application (Week 4–5)
Multiple layers of acrylic surface are applied. Each layer is allowed to cure before the next application. Professional line marking is done using laser-guided equipment.
Finishing & Handover (Week 6)
Net posts and nets are installed. Lighting system if included. Final quality checks and court testing. Complete handover with warranty documentation.
Understanding Surface Layers
A professional tennis court is built in multiple layers — each serving a specific purpose for durability, performance, and player safety.
Layer 1: Sub-Base (150–200mm)
Compacted soil and stone aggregate. Provides stable foundation and manages water drainage away from the court surface.
Layer 2: Base Layer (75–100mm)
Concrete (M20 grade) or asphalt base. This is the structural foundation that determines court flatness and long-term stability.
Layer 3: Primer / Binder Coat (1–2 coats)
Acrylic binder that seals the concrete/asphalt and provides adhesion for upper layers. Fills minor surface imperfections.
Layer 4: Resurfacer / Leveling Coat (2–3 coats)
Acrylic resurfacer with fine aggregates. Creates a smooth, uniform surface and repairs any remaining imperfections.
Layer 5: Cushion Layer (Optional — 1–2 coats)
Rubber-modified acrylic for cushioned systems. Reduces impact on joints and provides better player comfort. Recommended for professional facilities.
Layer 6: Texture / Play Coat (2–3 coats)
Color-coated acrylic with silica sand. Determines court speed (fast, medium, slow) and provides the playing surface — usually applied in green or blue.
Layer 7: Line Paint & Top Coat (1–2 coats)
Professional line marking in white. Final seal coat for UV protection and color retention. Lines are laser-marked for ITF accuracy.
Total Surface Thickness: Standard courts have 3–5mm surface thickness (hard court) while cushioned systems have 6–8mm. Total construction depth including base is approximately 250–300mm from finished level.
