A pickleball court is not one price but a stack of parts. For one outdoor court of about 1,800 sq ft (the 44 × 20 ft playing area plus run-off), the parts and their usual ranges are: site preparation ₹40,000–80,000, an asphalt base ₹60,000–1.2 lakh or an RCC base ₹1.6–2.2 lakh, acrylic surface and line marking ₹80,000–1.2 lakh, net and posts ₹8,000–20,000, fencing ₹30,000–80,000 and LED lighting ₹1.2–3.5 lakh.
Lighting is the biggest swing. It can add more than the surface itself, so decide early whether you need evening play. The base decides how long the court lasts. RCC is the standard choice; asphalt is the budget option. A cushioned surface adds a softer layer under the acrylic; a cushioned court on RCC costs about ₹5–8 lakh or more before fencing and lighting.
Per-square-foot quotes (often ₹250–500 per sq ft for acrylic) only mean something if you know the area they cover: the playing area alone is about 880 sq ft, while a court with run-off is about 1,800 sq ft. That is why this calculator works in whole-court figures.
| Court type | Typical cost per court |
|---|---|
| Asphalt base + acrylic (basic pad) | ₹2.5–4 lakh |
| RCC base + acrylic (standard) | ₹4–6.5 lakh |
| RCC base + cushioned surface | ₹5–8 lakh+ |
| Club court (fenced and lit) | ₹7–9 lakh |
| Premium court | ₹10–12 lakh |
| Indoor court (court only, excl. building) | ₹8–15 lakh |

A single pickleball court costs about ₹2.5–12 lakh in India. Asphalt with acrylic is ₹2.5–4 lakh, RCC with acrylic ₹4–6.5 lakh, RCC with a cushioned surface ₹5–8 lakh or more, a fenced and lit club court ₹7–9 lakh and a premium court ₹10–12 lakh. An indoor court is ₹8–15 lakh for the court alone, without the building.
It adds up real line-item ranges for one court of about 1,800 sq ft including run-off, so it gives a fair low-to-high range. Your exact price depends on the soil, the condition of any existing slab, site access and your city: metro rates run 10–40% above tier-2 cities. We confirm everything with an itemised quote after a site visit.
Lighting is the biggest single swing item: about ₹1.2–3.5 lakh per court. If the court is only for daytime play you can leave it out now and add it later, which is why the calculator lets you switch lighting off.
An asphalt base costs about ₹60,000–1.2 lakh per court and is the budget option. An RCC (reinforced concrete) base costs about ₹1.6–2.2 lakh and is the standard choice for a long-life court. On an existing concrete slab in good condition, the base may not need to be rebuilt; we check that on site.
No. The indoor figure of ₹8–15 lakh covers the court only. The building shell, roof and hall lighting are priced separately because they depend on the structure you already have or plan to build.
