Can You Really Fit All Four Sports on One Plot?
Yes, all four sports can share one plot, but only if you accept that basketball and box cricket need genuinely different surfaces rather than one shared slab stretched to cover everything. Basketball, badminton, and pickleball are all played on hard acrylic, so they can share one continuous slab with different coloured lines. Box cricket is played on synthetic turf, and turf and acrylic are two different builds. You cannot pour one and expect both surfaces to work.
That single fact decides your whole layout. The basketball court becomes the base slab because it has the largest footprint — 28m × 15m — of the three hard-court sports. Badminton and pickleball courts nest within or beside that slab using coloured lines. Box cricket sits on its own adjacent turf lane, built and costed separately.
Get this distinction right at the planning stage and the rest of the layout falls into place. Get it wrong — say, by trying to squeeze a turf cricket lane onto the same base as the basketball court — and you are looking at ripping out one surface to fix the other.
How Much Plot You Actually Need
Plan for roughly 1,000–1,500 sqm (0.25–0.4 acre) of usable plot for a compact 4-sport cluster, and budget more on top of that if you also want dedicated parking or a spectator buffer around the courts.
The basketball base slab alone is 420 sqm (28m × 15m) before run-off. Add about 1–1.5m of clear run-off on each side and you are closer to 500–550 sqm just for that surface.
